APGVB opens ultra small branches in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) opens ultra small branches in Andhra Pradesh. The biggest regional rural bank in Andhra Pradesh APGVBAPGVB, sponsored by countries largest lender State Bank of India, has opened ultra small branches (USBs) in 125 villages on February 5, 2013.

Last month Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank had opened 105 ultra small branches with the prime objective of providing banking services in villages, by expanding it’s reach through business correspondent agents (BCAs) and by leveraging the bio-metric technology.
