Forex reserves of India up USD 77.6 million to USD 295.74 billion.India’s foreign exchange reserves nudged up $77.6 million to $295.74 billion during the week ended January 25, 2013 according to the data released by Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

In the previous reporting week, total reserves had declined $580.3 million to $295.67 billion.

During the week under review, Foreign Currency Assets, constituting a chunk of the forex reserves, were up $79.3 million to $261.71 billion, the RBI said in its Weekly Statistical Supplement.
