  1. HOW FUNNY……………………
THERE IS SAME CRITERIA IN CLERICAL CADRE & IN OFFICER CADRE.

    • Ganesh Babu S says:

I don’t find anything funny here. Yes, qualification may be same, but it doesn’t mean the attitude and aptitude of the candidate will be same. In fact the one becoming IAS or IPS too has a degree has eligibility, can we call them funny for keeping graduation as eligibility fir Civil Service Examination. Absolutely no. One with better knowledge, better aptitude, better attitude will clear as officer and the one slightly lower than him may become clerical. Remember after joining even the one joining as clerk can become officer after 6 years (if I am right) by qualifying in internal examination and who knows can even cross the one joined as officer in the next 30 years of service.

    • AUR 1 BAR BOLONA… HOW FUNNY

  2. great news….finally the candidates won…now there will be a healthy competition..may the best person get selected…hope this cretiria remains same in the coming years

    • DO YOU THINK IT IS JUSTIFIED THAT THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN CRITERIA BETWEEN CLERK & OFFICER

      • why are u so obsessed with criteria? dont you know that the line seperating work of officer & clerk has diminished with computerisation. everyone has user id and has limited priviliges according to their post , be it clerk or officer. what problem do u have if criteria for both posts is same? do u know that 80% of current bank officers joined as clerk?

      • John Connor says:

SAME IS APPLICABLE FOR IAS AS WELL, SO DO YOU THINK A PO IS MORE CAPABLE THAN IAS?? ATLAST WE ALL WILL REACH TO A THRESHOLD IN-TERMS OF EDUCATION, YOUR WORDS ARE NOT JUSTIFIED, AND ONE MORE THING, CRITERIA IS DIFFERENT, IT IS THE EXAM… IF ONE IS CAPABLE ENOUGH TO CRACK PO WHY HE IS GOING FOR CLERK… OR IF YOU ARE CAPABLE ENOUGH TO CRACK IAS, WHY PREPARING FOR PO…. IT DEPENDS WHAT YOU WANT TO BE, BASED ON YOUR EDUCATION, ONE MUST NOT BE REFRAINED ENTERING INTO ANY EXAMS…. SET THE PAPER AS IT HARDEST LEVEL IF YOU CAN… AND THEN SEE RISING OF THE ELIGIBLE…

      • so is it justified then to have the same criteria for ias,ips & bank ofcr?

      • kisne kha different nhi exam paper bhut jyada different ka hota hai

  3. EACH & EVERY INSTITUTION HAS DIFFERENT CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT OF CLERK & OFFICER.
IF THE CRITERIA OF OFFICER IS ONLY GRADUATION FOR IBPS THEN WHY NOT 10+2 FOR CLERK

  4. IF THE CRITERIA FOR CLERK & OFFICER IS SAME THEN SALARY SHOULD NOT BE DIFFERENT

    • subrata-criteria same hai job same nahi hai jo salary bhi same kar de aise to fir ias,ips bhi grad basis pe bnte hai unki bhi salary equal kara le ..

    • Aae maa……..
      1bar how funny Bologna….

  5. yes yes yes says:

fuck u all haters who wer happy abt d fact dat d criteria was 60%..specially chutiya honeyx..atlast d right thing has been done..best of luck 2 all d ppl..who thought it was unfair to keep 60% in grad..friends now study hard..may all ur dreams come true..

  6. we all won

  7. majority is the great strength

“The Success Fruit is Tastier Today”, I lodged Grievance (like may others) in pgportal and even promoted to do in many portals and Facebook pages to do the same after hearing the news in November 2012. Though it was forwarded fast to many officials in the beginning, it lied in the table of a officer from December, 2012. I knew that any grievances need to addressed within 3 months, but even till today it is pending state. I thought may be the percentage criteria will not be implemented. For safety I joined a Master degree in Public Administration, which is actually my optional subject in CSE. But the implementation of percentage criteria and no intimation of post graduate percentage put me crest fallen for at least a day. I decided not leave it and arranged an RTI to file against Department of Finance about the facts considered to implement the percentage criteria and later with the reply I thought of filing a case in high court and get interim stay for the examination. I supposed to have sent it today (22/07/2013), but I missed the IPO. When I opened my Facebook, I was surprised to see from one my friends share, that the modifications implemented has been slashed and the previous criteria has been fixed again. Now I am totally relieved like many here and others outside. Its time to cherish. Planning to apply tomorrow. I wish all those who worried with percentage change will take this year exam seriously and pass in numbers. Lets prove again that percentage is not the criteria to determine a candidate. After final results, I promise I would apply RTI to get the number of candidates cleared this year PO examination with less than 60 percentage marks. With the data I would proceed further with other Public Sector Enterprises and other Central Government Organisation which still follow the stupid concept fixing a percentage for common entrance examination in a country where education pattern is not uniform. Congrats once again to all.

  9. Friend I heards that even after clearing IBPS PO, Individually banks demands age 28, I think we should also do something about this, we should also fight agaist this whole system, Now what is happening and what is the problem that banks Individually keeping criteria high say in RRB age is 28, and even in every bank is like PNB, UCO, BOB is 28, and in private sector banks age is 26. there are so many programs conducted by banks before the age group of 26-28. what about those who will clear IBPS and at the age group 28-30 and there will not be any position in banks for them, because banks take Individually till 28 age and more than 60% criteria. we all have to look this matter very closely and should raise our voice against it. this is again controversial news. I think its fact, even after clearing IBPS they will not keep, is nt is ridiculous. Matter is that is not about only IBPS, its about whole banking industry. these are the seed and consequences cause by IBPS. we all have to fight against it, otherwise at the end we will be again late. This whole banking industry is making something to eat individually.

    • If you are above the age group of 28 and you have work experience, then it will not a matter at interview..
percentage and age is not a factor in bank selection.. all depend upon your performance in written and Interview..

just go thrugh the procedure of IBPS PO 2..

    • Banks never publish individual criteria..
The whole recruitment process is done by IBPS.
Banks are bound to accept the candidates who are selected by IBPS..
Dont worry.. study hard and avoid all the rumours..

  10. I mean can you smell what the Bank/IBPS is cooking.

  11. yar ye last time pe posting ke time fir se to natak nhi karege naa

i mean placement unhi ko de jo 60% n below thn 28 ho

  12. even that is what i m asking about, koi b bank 28 se upar ni leta hai, to IBPS hame 28-30, and less than 60% ko kon se bank me dalenge. we all should file petion against banking system again.

  13. Pahle IBSP ne banking system ko hilya ab jab bank hil chuke hai to IBPS sidha koi, please jago, Iss pure banking system ko b hilana padega.

  14. Please I want to file petition against whole banking system against employment system, because some student complete study at the age group of 26-30 so in whole banking system policies should be revived. Its not done mere raise voice against only IBPS. its about whole banking system for employment standards.

  15. what i under stand that if the percentage is matter then what is the

reason of conduct a paper like DU select the candidate.

But finally we won and now prepare for the paper and
HARISH bhai there is still some % problem .

    bye the way
    BEST OF LUCK to all

  16. % % chillate raho
bank vaale to 60% + aur below 28 age vale ko hi lenge
bhale aap IBPS (80 -99%) top kar lo at the age of 29

    • which bank has published a different criteria other than IBPS ?
In IBPS PO 2 and clerk 2 Which bank has rejected candidates those are selected by IBPS ??
You shuold check the recruitment page of all PSU banks, then post your comment..
Before the common interview the selection was depend upon individual bank.. But now all is upon IBPS.
Banks are bound to accept those, who are selected by IBPS.

    • but a good back ground and an excellent career profile will help you to get good marks in the interview..

  17. If you are above the age group of 28 and you have work experience, then it will not a matter at interview..
percentage and age is not a factor in bank selection.. all depend upon your performance in written and Interview..

You will definitely get a job in bank if you get good marks in written and interview.. If you don.t believe me then look at the document that the banks demand from the selected candidates after they are selected by IBPS..
Your selection is purely based on the merit list which is published by IBPS after commom written and interview..

    • the criteria of IBPS is the criteria of banks..
IBPS is conducting common exam for SO, PO, and clerks from the year 2011.
From then it was not found that banks demand other criteria than IBPS.

But if you are a below 60 percent and above the age of 28 withiout any work experience, then it will be doo difficult for you to achieve good marks in the interview.. The only solution is you have to get very high marks in written. so that you can get a good combined mark and get a place in the merit list..
      All the best..

    • In 2013, I appeared the common interview of both clerk and PO.. In the interview of PO i got low marks. I guess it is due to less percentage in graduation.
But in clerk written exam I got very high marks and then interview marks did not affect me. I got a competitive combined score and now i am selected for allahabad bank in clerk-2.. I am 23. and this year I completed the MBA too.

Definitely percentage will be a matter at interview.. So I should achieve a very competitive mark in written exam. and my clerical work experience may help me in interview.. Guys if you are 28 and have work experience then there is nothing to worry..
and graduation 60 percent is not the only thing that shows your quality.. you can show your quality by other qualifications. Like MBA, MCA, ICWA, CS, CA etc etc..

    • If you are a below 60 percent in bachelor degree, then you shoul show your master degree.. and If you are above 28, then show your work experience..
Those who dont have master degree and have less than 60% in grad. the only way is to get a very competitive mark in written.. JUST REMEBER, THERE IS A SOLUTION FOR EVERY PROBLEM..

  18. combine score =
(80 percent of your written mark) + (20 percent of your interview mark).

If your combine score is above the final cut-off then, even the president of india can not stop you from getting the job.. But you have to match the criteria which is published during the advertisement..

Please check the recruitment page of various PSU banks where you will get whole Idea that how the banks select candidates ,, whether they are demanding individual 60 percent or not, and which original documents they demand for verification.
    All the best brothers………….. (Y)

  19. my final score is 64.40 in genral catgry in up.how much % merit may be down in second round clerk allotment in up for genral???

  20. my final score is 64.40 in genral catgry in up.how much % merit may be down in second round clerk allotment by IBPS in up for genral?????

  21. hi can you please tell me where will be interviews of po 3 will take place at state capitals or any major centres

  22. Hi Admin ,

I want to know one thing , if i attempt 15 questions in each section with 100% accuracy in IBPS online exam , can i pass the exam according to Linear Transformation Method ( I heard that IBPS will correct papers through this method ). I heard a lot of rumours in Internet Blogspots . Please any one clarify my doubt.

Will IBPS will provide bonus marks if we attempt the bits with 100% accuracy ?

Please any one clarify me the procedure of evaluating , if possible with EXAMPLE ???

    From,

    Vamshi,

    vamsi560@hotmail.com.

    • There will be sectional cutoff for each section which will be decided by the IBPS. and also overall weightage. So even if you clear sectional cutoff you need to be at the top to get call for interview.
So first try to clear the sectional cutoff and attempt as many questions as possible.
It’s not your school exam to allot bonus marks for accuracy, handwriting etc. Marks will be awarded only if the response is correct and negative marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
Give your best….. All the Best..
