Arvind Ranjan appointed DG of NSG

Arvind Ranjan appointed as Director General (DG) of National Security Guard (NSG).

The Government of India on December 18, 2012 has appointed Arvind Ranjan as the new Director General (DG) of National Security Guard (NSG). Arvind Ranjan who is currently working as the Special Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) will replace Subhash Joshi who will take charge as DG of BSF.

The appointment will be effective from the dates these officers assume charge of their posts and till their superannuation or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
