The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry O Rogozin was on a two-day visit to India from 18 June to 19 June 2014. During the visit, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. During the meet discussions on a range of bilateral and international issues of mutual interest were made.
The two countries decided to step up their cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons, pharmaceuticals, cooking coal and infrastructure. It was decided to increase the bilateral trade beyond the present ten billion dollar.
