IBPS Specialist Officers 2013 Syllabus.
Mumbai-headquartered Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification of 2nd Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of specialist officers in 20 Nationalized banks and it has started accepting online application for the same.
IBPS is going to conduct the 2nd CWE for Specialist Officers Recruitment online in March 16 or 17, 2013. Specialist officers examination is slightly different from traditional Probationary Officers exam; in Specialist Officers exam a candidate has to appear in test to prove their Professional Knowledge. So aspirants need to understand syllabus clearly for the perfect preparation.
This year, IBPS added two new job categories – Charted Accountant and Finance Executive (scale-II). There are total 11 categories of Job this time which will be conducted in the Online Common Written Exam.
IBPS Specialist Officer 2013 Exam Syllabus
This time, the IBPS has mentioned two types of syllabus for the 2nd CWE for Specialist officer recruitment exam. First one is for the Law Officer- Scale I & II & Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I and the second one is for the IT Officer Scales I & II, Agriculture Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel Officer Scale I, Marketing Officer Scale I, Technical Officer Scale I, Chartered Accountants Scale-II & Finance Executive Scale-II.
Time Duration of the Exam: 120 minutes(2 hrs)

Penalty of Wrong Answer?
There will be a penalty of wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each and every wrong answer given by the candidate, there will be deduction of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
